During installation, I get an error to the effect that "instMSIw.exe" or similar can not be found. Help!
Solution:
Sorry to hear about the problem. The root cause of this problem is that the Microsoft Windows Installer system is not installed on your PC. It's installed on most people's PCs, so it's not clear why it is not installed on yours, but fortunately there is an easy solution:
Visit the Windows Installer 2.0 Redistributable Windows 2000 and NT or Windows Installer 2.0 Redistributable for Windows 95, 98, and Me homepages (Microsoft) where you can download the installer. Install this onto your PC, reboot, and then try downloading and installing Safelog for PocketPC.
